Top End attractions are keeping the Supercars drivers and crews busy during the brief break between race weekends at Hidden Valley.

While the mechanics and engineers prepare the Supercars for action, ahead of a mid-week break for most of the teams, the drivers are already powering into a range of down-time activities.

Some are golfing, others are fishing, and then there is cycling.

Nick Percat and Macauley ‘Macca’ Jones from Brad Jones Racing both packed their bicycles into the team’s transporter for the long road trip through the sunshine states and have been keeping up their fitness with regular rides.

Today it is an 82-kilometre ride at an average speed of 20 kilometres-per-hour, not bad in the heat and humidity of the Northern Territory.

And there is also the reward – a chocolate donut – before hitting the pool at the end of the ride.
