But this is Tony Stewart, the man nicknamed 'smoke' because he would burn the rubber on his outside rear tyre in NASCAR, and he has just added a massive new milestone to a career that includes victories in everything from Speedcars and Sprintcars to championships in NASCAR and the Indy Racing League. He just won the NHRA Top Fuel title at the four-wide nationals in Las Vegas, completing the transition when he took over his wife Leah Pruett's car while she had their first child.
