Ace photographer Andrew Hall has done it again, this time during the GT action at Sydney Motorsport Park.

"On the exit of Turn 5 there is a bit of a dip in the track surface and a kerb that is quite tempting for the drivers to gain a bit of extra track width. The result is the cars occasionally bottom out on their skid plates and produce a shower of sparks that wouldn’t be out of place at the New Year’s Eve fireworks display," he says.

"Some cars did it more that others and the Tigani Motorsport Mercedes GT3 of Jayden Ojeda and Paul Lucchitti was a repeat offender – which was much appreciated by me."
